PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONTINUE:
The Basic Pesticide Training Class is required for all those wishing to become either Certified Pesticide Applicators or Pesticide Operators-those who work under the supervision of a Certified Pesticide Applicator. All classes BPT classes are $99 (unless you are an NJPMA member) and you must either send payment in advance or bring it to class. Classes run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, EXCEPT those in Union County, which run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, so please arrive early. This is REQUIRED training for taking the DEP Core Exam and for all Operator's Licenses, in addition to meeting all category specific requirements. At the end of your class, you will receive a certificate that is your responsibility to keep for your records. You must contact THE STATE DEP, not NJPMA, to schedule your exam OR FOR ANY LICENSING RELATED QUESTIONS at http://www.state.nj.us/dep/enforcement/pcp/ or 609-984-6614.
You MUST register for classes IN ADVANCE. Classes often fill up a week ahead or more. To see if a class is full, click on the date....if it doesn't allow you to register, the class is full.
